A fugitive has asked Australian police on Facebook to use a better mugshot. On Monday afternoon, Victorian Police shared a photograph of wanted man 25-year-old Daniel Damon on its Facebook page calling for information from the public.

It linked to a notice of a warrant for Damon’s arrest regarding traffic and drug matters. But, instead of a member of the public coming forward with information on Damon’s whereabouts, the man himself replied to the post.

“Can you use a better photo tho. This is a horrible mugshot,” a man going by the name Danny Damon requested. The quick-witted police officers wrote back: “Hi Daniel, please visit your nearest police station and we’ll arrange for a new photo to be taken!”

The interaction continued with Damon calling the police a “stick in the mud” and saying he does plan on coming into the station once he gets a few things in order. “Just gotta organise myself a lawyer and get everything organised,” the daring suspect wrote, complete with grimacing emoji.
