REMINDER  ~  Duck Head from power supplies recalled

Basically if you have a “Duck Head” that is in the faulty group, take it to an Apple Store with the serial number of your iPhone, iPad or Mac and get it exchanged

Identifying your wall plug adapter

Compare your adapter to the images below. An affected wall plug adapter has 4 or 5 characters or no characters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter. Redesigned adapters have a 3-letter regional code in the slot (EUR, KOR, AUS, ARG or BRA).

The Telstra Network was down for an extended time today Australia wide!

Quoting

A spokesperson said “ due to a technicians error the network was down for  a period of tome today. Problems included inability to make or receive calls and data usage.

We will be contacting our customers to offer compensation, which will include free data to personal customers and other deals for business customers

Listener Optus repair issue

Friend of the show, who wants to remain nameless for this one, advised he took his iPhone 6 to Optus for repair.

They charged the $? for the excess for the insurance claim and stated we will get you a new iPhone.  After 10 Days Optus advised it was ready.  They went in to pick it up and the screen was not in properly and grey at the top.

They were again told it was a new iPhone and must be faulty ~ BUT get this they tried to change them another excess.  After a brief discussion the manager did a deal were Optus paid out the current contract and updated the contract and iPhone to a 6S+

How to remove old email address in Apple Mail

When addressing an email and an someones old address pops up

1/ From the Window menu at the top select Previous Recipients

2/ scroll up and down to find them OR enter their name in the Search Box

3/ select them in the list and click Remove From List

If you use iCloud Contacts, your Previous Recipients list is available on your other Mac computers (with OS X v10.8 or later) and iOS devices (with iOS 6 or later) that have iCloud Contacts turned on.

How To 2

iOS 9 deleting emails – with out swiping just tapping

1/ Open the mail app

2/ Tap on the inbox you would like to delete emails

3/ Tap on edit

4/ Tap trash all or select as your choice

5/ After that all emails going to trash folder move from inbox

 

After that open trash folder here you can delete permanently or again move to inbox if wish
